Proud of the entrepreneurs on Season 6 of ‘Project Pitch It’

Season 6 of “Project Pitch It,” the television show presented by UW-Milwaukee’s Lubar Entrepreneurship Center, aired this spring. The show’s weekly format features entrepreneurs pitching their businesses/products to moguls for one of three awards.

Congrats to all the participants for the experience, exposure and rewards they earned. The Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship is familiar with 14 of them:

$10,000 Peg Ann & David Gruber Award winners:

  • Advantage Point 360 (Ross Younger) of Milwaukee, which offers 360-degree photography and virtual tours
  • A Goodman’s Desserts (Alan Goodman) of Milwaukee, which makes cookies, cakes and bread pudding
  • Dr. Dyslexia Dude (Dr. Shawn Anthony Robinson) of Oshkosh, which uses graphic novels to tell the story of a young Black superhero who has dyslexia
  • Empresaria Cosmetics (Izabelle Villafuerte) of Greendale, which makes easier-to-clean makeup brushes for heavy makeup users
  • Griffin & Gargoyle (Daniel Colwell) of Lake Geneva, which plans to offer an immersive fantasy restaurant and amusement experience opening in 2024
  • Sydetasker (Collin Milligan) of Milwaukee, which offers an app for all types of tasks to be completed

$5,000 Jendusa/UWM Lubar Entrepreneurship Center Award winners:

  • Angler Armor (Brian Fox) of Fond du Lac, which created an alarm system to meet the needs of serious tournament fishermen 
  • Ciao Bella Athletics (Gina Cornell) of Wausau, which makes well-fitting triathlon wear with eco-friendly dyes and state-of-the-art fabrics
  • Gold Coast Candy (Yaw Asare) of Appleton, which makes Ghana style peanut brittle
  • Plush Clothing (Yolanda Coleman) of Racine, which offers trendy yet reasonably priced plus-size clothing and accessories
  • Unytus (Jit and Sukhi Sukhvider) of Brookfield, which created an edutainment app that enables young students to embrace diversity through a culturally responsive English language arts curriculum

$1,500 American Family/We Energies Award winners:
