One of the most valuable activities technology companies can do is go to conferences to meet people and organizations that can help grow the company. Of particular impact is the TechConnect World Innovation conference that is commonly held in October just outside of Washington D.C.
This is actually a few conferences that run concurrently and was the first in-person conference I was able to attend in the past couple of years. One of those co-located events is the SBIR/STTR Fall Innovation Conference. Here, several SBIR/STTR federal agencies attend, provide content and the latest updates to their programs, and have program managers available for personal conversation.
I was happy to see CTC Wisconsin Clients, NCD Technologies, Aryflo and L’eau Technologies in attendance and giving technical talks.
When next year’s conference is announced, we suggest you consider attending or participating with a booth. TechConnect has always been a fruitful venue to connect with other technologists, meet program managers and learn more about federal partnership opportunities.
Speaking of federal partnership opportunities, CTC is hosting the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) NEXT WEEK for a quick call about upcoming funding challenges and how Wisconsin innovators (students, faculty and small businesses) might join the network and get major funding towards their technology.
