Over the past two weeks we’ve seen Wisconsin businesses and innovators stepping up to create much needed masks and diagnostics.

NSF is calling for companies to submit Phase I SBIR/STTR proposals working on the development and deployment of new technologies, products, processes and services that can address the COVID-19 crisis. Areas of research that might be considered, but are not limited to: AI, Digital health, diagnostics, distributed ledger, environmental tech, medical devices, pharmaceutical technologies, disinfection and sterilization, and filtration and separations.
These Phase I SBIR/STTR proposals will be expedited to get your projects started sooner and funds faster. NSF Phase 1 awards are up to $256K, with possible Phase II and supplemental awards up to $1.5M over 24 months.
Now is the time to innovate! Look at your technology from different angles. How could your software, AI, drug, process…etc….aid in this pandemic, the aftermath or future pandemics? Are you a small manufacturing business that wants to get involved?
Be creative, Wisconsin, and get funding from NSF to build a tech that will help the world.
